I really thought we were lucky with the Maiden as a spot to meet, sadly our luck did not hold out. The Maiden is under new management and while the new menu looks really nice, I think its gone a bit upscale for our group. Somehow "duck confit" and "copynight" don't really go hand-in-hand, in my mind.
So. I think we should try something a little different this month and meet at the Green Dragon on SE 9th. There is a "bistro" side with table service and, well, tables but there is also a bar side that has some sit down tables and some high top tables with and without chairs. I'm wondering if it would be kind of cool to congregate around some of those high tables -- it's a sort of set up so that it's easy to move around and socialize. So, I propose we meet at the Green Dragon on the bar side at 7:30. They do have food - really pretty good food - and you can order at the bar. They have an awesome selection of obscure beers and I think they have wine, they definitely have cocktails.

The place is basically a garage so don't expect a ton of ambiance but it could be fun!!!
If it doesn't work, or people dislike it, we can pick a new place. Basically, I just discovered how much the Maiden had changed today and I don't have time to call all over and I really like the beer at the Green Dragon.
It's on 9th, off of Belmont near the Q Hut.
Candy volunteered to start us off with a good conversation about IP rights vs. human rights! Should be a really good one!
