Good morning. I wanted to let folks know that I was planning to try to attend this event in Raleigh tomorrow night in lieu of the monthly CopyNight meeting this month. I thought it was relevant to this group, and wanted to share it with the list in case anyone else local would find it interesting.

The News and Observer is sponsoring Freedom Sings: A Celebration of the First Amendment through words and music, which will take place on Tuesday, October 25 at the Meymandi Concert Hall at The Progress Energy Center of the Performing Arts. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. at is free to the public. You do not need a ticket for the show. Seats at first-come, first-serve.
Freedom Sings is a critically acclaimed multi-media experience featuring an all-star cast of musicians. The presentation tells the story of almost three centuries of banned or censored music in America and invites audiences to take a fresh look at the First Amendment. This entertaining, irreverent, and inspiring program is packed with live music, video and graphics and appeals to people from all political perspectives.
