Hello All,
I have decided to cease running CopyNight after this month due to the unsustainably low turnout, but I would like to invite you all to come out one last time for the final Seattle CopyNight, tomorrow, February 26, at 8:30 PM at the Elysian Brewery, 1221 E. Pike. It's been a lot of fun hosting this event over the past year and a half, and I would like to encourage everybody to attend some of the great geek events that have sprung up around town:
Seattle Saturday House, www.saturdayhouse.org - Seattle Saturday House is a weekly gathering of several people who meet and do ... whatever they want! People work on projects, people talk about ideas, people conspire and hatch plans, and people play games with each other. It's been called "BarCamp every Saturday," though it's a bit smaller than BarCamp.
Ignite Seattle, igniteseattle.com - Ignite is a series of geek nights in Seattle. It is hosted by Brady Forrest of O’Reilly Radar and Bre Pettis of Make. The nights feature a series of fast-paced, short-form tech talks, and occasionally feature a Make contest (like a popsicle bridge-building contest) as well. The event is thrown every couple of months at the Capitol Hill Arts Center.
Thanks for coming to CopyNight, and I hope to see you at our last hurrah tomorrow!
Riana
