Hello everyone,
We haven't had CopyNight for a while so, by request, let's do some catching up with two events this month on Tuesday, April 14th, and Monday, April 27th.

Thomas Gideon of The Command Line Podcast will lead a discussion around recent copyright news. Subjects may include:
the role of netroots activism in the recent scrapping of NZ's Section 92a;
the threat of ISP enforcement more generally as it becomes part of telecom legislation in the EU and elsewhere;
* Fred von Lohman's analysis of the legal questions raised by Obama's recent gifting of a pre-loaded iPod to Queen Elizabeth.

In February, I asked for your feedback on the best days to have CopyNight. The results of that survey is below. Moving forward, we'll be having CopyNights one day earlier: on the 4th Monday of the month. If you have any concerns about this, please let me know.
